Brush Stroke Pot Black

This lovely stoneware pot in speckled clay is made by Norwich potter Paige Mitchell.

First thrown on the potters wheel it is then bisque fired once when dry, then decorated using wax resist. Stamped, waxed and coated in a glossy black glaze. The piece is then placed back in the kiln for its final 1230 degree centigrade glaze firing.

This pot doesn't have a drainage hole so can be used as a utensil/trinket pot, plant pot or vase.

Dishwasher and microwave safe though discouraged for longevity.

Frost safe to  -5 degrees celsius.
