This stylish and collectible mid century tea set was produced in the Northampton foundry of Burrage and Boyd, designed by Jean Picquot. The material used is a unique magnesium/aluminium alloy that they named Magnalium. Most of the items in the range were cast as a single piece and the solid construction is efficient at retaining heat. The handles are made from the wood of sycamore trees.
The set is comprised of a teapot, hot water pot, lidded sugar bowl and milk jug.
