The Cricklade Pottery of Wiltshire was established by Ivan and Kay Martin in 1951. For a quarter of a century they produced thousands of beautifully thrown pieces of domestic ware.
This gorgeous dish has an interior glaze in the deepest teal blue decorated with abstract leaves on stems in celadon green and black. The outside of the dish has been left unglazed and features a slight pie crust edge. It is stamped with Cricklade on one outside corner.
