Interior Inspiration - New York
One of my favourite things about visiting other places in the world is the extra inspiration I gain for the shop and home. I thought it would be nice to share some favourite images (mine and others) of some interior inspiration in New York, some places I visited and others I found whilst searching. I wonder how much of our cultural differences influence our interior styles. Certainly the architecture of a home should have an influence (in my mind) on the decorating of a home both in terms of style and the period, but obviously other factors have an impact too, such as trends, travel and personality.
I have chosen to choose images of interiors which mirror the vibe I got whilst in New York. Eclectic, mad, crazy, colourful and fun. I hope you are inspired too.

This is an image of the John Derian shop. An eclectic space filled with old and new mixing colour and pattern.
This is an image of a Soho Bar, slick finishes with cowhide covers.
Copper doors, Copper windows, large rustic planters. Love, love, love.
These windows.....that's all I need to say.
