This workshop is for makers, small businesses and market traders who want to photograph and style their own work — without a big budget or a professional photographer. It’s hands-on from the start.
For 3.5 hours you’ll have exclusive use of the whole shop, the workshop room, and all my props and products to practise with, on a day when the shop is closed. We keep numbers to five so there’s proper time to work on your own pieces.
We cover phone photography and flat lays, styling for markets and shop windows, and press-ready images — by the end you’ll have a clear, repeatable approach you can use at home, in store, or on a stall.
What we cover
Product styling and visual storytelling — your brand’s aesthetic, and the different approaches (flat lays, lifestyle, white background, creative compositions). Composition and design — rule of thirds, focal points, negative space, consistency across your feed. Styling for markets and shop windows — the same principles, applied to physical spaces that need to stop people walking past. Using AI to go further — captions, product descriptions and mood boards generated from your own images.
